I had the white meat chicken curry. It was very tasty. It had some kick to it. I also had a naan which was excellent soft and flavorful. I am glad I bought more than one.

Flavors of India was recommended to me by someone who has great taste in food. So naturally, I took his advice and tried it for lunch after my shopping at North Market.

Upon arriving at the counter, you could already smell the aroma of the spices and herbs working together to create the perfect flavors. Wasn't sure what to get from the options presented (curry chicken, curry goat, chicken makhani,) so I sampled them all. I was most pleased with the curry chicken because of its heat and how flavorful it was.

We ordered the curry chicken and naan bread... everything tasted great! Their portion sizes are large and you can split the meal between two or have leftovers for later. I will definitely be back to try a different dish - highly recommend!

I'm happy I tried Flavors of India! The woman who waited on us was very nice and let us try samples before we ordered. I got the chicken curry - it was warm but not spicy enough where I needed a water (thankfully because I forgot to bring one with me). I would have preferred a spicier dish. The green beans were a little soft but still good. The naan was buttery and worth the extra $1!

I love this place! I come to Columbus for work and always love coming to north market for lunch and to take food for later as well. I'm a big fan of Indian food and have eaten here several times. The workers are always friendly and offer a sample if you'd like to try something.

I usually get rice with two options and a samosa as well. I believe the samosas are always the same with potato and peas (vegan). I am vegan, myself, so I always appreciate when things are clearly marked for me. The whole right side of the buffet is vegan so there are usually around 4 different options. I'm always torn on which to get since they are all so good and flavorful. I love spicy food so in my option, i haven't had too spicy of a dish and actually tend to crave more heat. I believe they have spicier sauces with the meat dishes.

I also appreciate when the rice to sauce ratio is appropriate, which they do pretty well! Thank you

"Flavors of India" at North Market offers a truly international yet Indian cuisine experience. The food here has vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, as well non vegetarian options.
Some entrees are curry based especially chicken, chickpeas, spinach with cottage cheese etc.
The food is very rich in flavors and not too spicy, which makes it very palatable for most non-Indians who are hesitant to try spicy food.
You can also find some non-curry based entrees like okra, beans & potato, cabbage etc.
They also offer the Indian stuffed bread, which is called a parāthā. Parāthās are usually stuffed with a mixture of minced potatoes, peas, herbs and spices. And these parāthās are also not hot spicy, they are flavorful spicy.
The ordering system is pretty simple. You choose to order a vegetarian or a non vegetarian combo plate which includes a bed of rice with 1/2/3 entrees as per your choice.
I like the food here, specifically because it is cooked with a much broader audience in mind, and not just for the Indian palate.
The staff is also very polite and helpful.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting North Market for breakfast/brunch/lunch.
